I began working in adult education in 1989 with the Richmond City Adult Education Program as Instructional Coordinator for the Philip Morris Workplace Learning Program. I was also a GED instructor and lead teacher with that program. In 1999 I came here to the Resource Center as GED Initiative Specialist to lead the learner-directed statewide transition efforts to the new GED 2002 tests. I continued to work in the capacity of Resource Center GED and Distance Learning Specialist. In July of 2006 I became Resource Center Assistant Manager for Programs. I have a BA in English and Philosophy from Emory & Henry College and an MA in Humanities from Florida State University.
